Mottisfont Abbey

Mottisfont Abbey is a glorious Hampshire NT property that includes two real treasures. The Whistler Room is a glorious tromp l'oeil painted by Rex Whistler (of 'Whistler's Mother' fame). And outside, in June, the huge walled garden is a riot of colour and an olefactory heaven with the many roses there. Here are a few photographs I took there. Don't ask me what the flowers are. I thought they were just beautiful.
