Statistical Process Control (SPC)Statistical Process Control literally means the control of processes through statistical means, but in practice includes a range of other approaches. In particular it focuses on the reduction of variation. Although a detailed knowledge of statistics can help, most people can use this approach in most situations after only a limited amount of training, although once you get into the deeper stuff, the mathematics comes more to the fore.
